Profile of Indonesian Health Economics Association (InaHEA)
Indonesia Health Economics Association (InaHEA) is the association of experts in the field of health economics. InaHEA is affiliated with International Health Economics Association (IHEA) as the biggest forum of health economics globally. Since 2014, InaHEA has conducted 5 (five) annual scientific meeting attended by hundreds of member from national and international participants.

About the 6th InaHEA Annual Scientific Meeting 2019
We extend a warm welcome to the distinguished speakers, delegates, Health Economists, Healthcare Industry leaders and Policy Makers, from around the world to Indonesia, for attending the 6th Annual Scientific Meeting (ASM), entitled “(Political) Economics of Non-Communicable Diseases in Indonesia-Gathering Evidence for National Action Plan” during November 6th to 8th, 2019 in Bali, Indonesia.
The ASM plays a leading role in optimizing scarce resources to improve health outcomes. It provides a foundation for the understanding of health economics and econometrics as applied in the wider context of health services research. Public health, health economics and econometrics exposes the student to the wider related academic disciplines of importance in understanding the interaction of economics and global health, such as epidemiology, public health and policy analysis. Research in this stream covers work in several broad areas, including: (1) socio-economic inequalities in and determinants of health outcomes and health behaviors, (2) social and economic consequences of health and health behaviors, and (3) the economic evaluation of public health interventions. Emerging health econometrics developments puts additional tools which can be optimized in such research agenda.
