It is with much pleasure that we invite you to join us at the next InaHEA 2019 Annual Scientific Meeting to be held November 6th-8th, 2019 at Bali, Indonesia.
The InaHEA 2019 ASM represents a dynamic platform for researchers, academia, agencies, policy-makers, industry professionals, patients and health service providers to inspire and provoke productive discussions about the future role of health economics and econometrics in providing robust evidence to national health policy and/or the use of health technology.
The next ASM will bring together more than 300 delegates from around the globe (including Asia, Europe, and Afrika) to discuss these latest advances in this constantly evolving field. Revolving around the meeting’s central theme: “(Political) Economics of Non-Communicable Diseases in Indonesia-Gathering Evidence for National Action Plan”, there are some questions and issues that will be covered at the ASM. These include: How is the current economic cost of NCDs treatment? How to mobilize national fiscal in order to meet NCDs cost? What are the challenges of NCDs under National Health Insurance (JKN) scheme? What is required to enable the implementation of evidence into evidence-informed policies and practices? What can be done to strengthen and accelerate the evidence-to-action connection?
There will be three plenary sessions at which national and international experts will inspire delegates to think beyond the current state of political and economics of NCDs in Indonesia to imagine a future when all parts of the evidence-to-action ecosystem work in harmony.
